A unique development in the heart of Melbourne City, comprising of state-of-the-art office accommodation. The home to multiple renowned companies within the fields of insurance, social networking, computer gaming and more. The building features green terraces and private balconies, so the personnel can enjoy the environment around them.
In order to ensure the vibration from the rooftop sports court, generated by footfall and ball bouncing didn’t transmit through the rest of the structure and cause disturbance to employees, the sports court had to be completely isolated from the rest of the building structures. Embelton designed and manufactured a concrete floating floor system, isolated from the structural sub-floor using a combination of 330 spring mountings and perimeter foam isolation.
